NFR Wrap Up

We are finally back home in Wyoming!  Las Vegas never disappoints though.  We can’t say enough how grateful we are for the hospitality we were shown by the Academy of Country Music and Las Vegas Events.  Our four nights at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo were superb.  The rodeo and the fans are the best in the world!  We would also like to give a special shout out to Wrangler for supplying us with some really nice stuff from their latest line.  You make us look great!

We even had a chance to perform at Flint Rasmussen’s show “Outside the Barrel.”  We were fortunate enough to share the stage with rodeo cowboy legend Larry Mahan, professional barrel man and all around funny guy Crash Cooper, and steer wrestling great Jason Miller (yup, Lance Creek, Wyoming).  Flint and Curt are the best.  If you ever get a chance, “Outside the Barrel” is a must see.  Thanks Flint!

Now that we are back, it’s time to wrap up the year with a few great shows.  Thursday December 29th, we are please to announce that we are playing for our friend Jhett Johnson’s Gold Buckle Party in Casper, Wyoming.  Jhett, along with fellow team roper Turtle Powell won the national championship at the NFR this year!  We are very proud of all our Wyoming cowboys for a great showing this year.  Jhett’s party is at the Parkway Plaza in Casper starting at 8:00 on the 29th.  It’s open to the public, so come help celebrate!

Friday, the 30th we will be at Dewey’s in Moorcroft for a hometown Crown throwdown, and the 31st we will be in Gillette at the Cam-Plex for the New Years Eve Buckin Ball.  Many of today’s top riders will be there.  The rodeo is awesome and the party is even better.
